Looking for a way to increase team relations then look no further. If you want your team to taste success then a culinary team building experience is the perfect recipe for this. This day creates team bonds; helps build relationships and establish connections with each other. This is all focused on preparation, timing, teamwork and coordinating efforts - the fundamentals of all teams. From sampling the tropical flavours of Miami at this fun and engaging class to learning different dishes and having some social drinks too. It can’t fail to encourage friendly competitiveness and motivate teams.
The class will start off with the culinary entertainer showing how to make a classic cuban mojito and then the guests will be encouraged to make their own mojito. While they enjoy their drink, the culinary entertainer will demonstrate a popular latin dish: tostones served with a garlic mojo sauce. Tostones are twice-fried green plantain and are similar to a thick-cut potato chip with the accompanying sauce of garlic, lime and cilantro. Guests will learn about plantains and how to use a tostonera. The next dish will be a hands-on appetizer of picadillo empanada. The attendees will make their own empanadas, which will be fried on the spot and served with a latin cream.

- Your instructor will provide you with everything you need for the class, even the recipes.

What can I expect at the cooking class?
The class will be social and fun, the demonstrator will do everything to make you feel comfortable and welcome. The culinary instructor will demonstrate and get volunteers from the class to complete each dish, which you will eat as you make. No one has to cook but is encouraged to participate for a great experience.
Do I need to know how to cook? I’m a beginner!
The class will show you how to make complete dishes, step by step, while highlighting various cooking techniques and why they work.
What if I’m experienced?
Even experienced cooks can have a great time at the classes and learn new techniques and tricks.
Can I make these recipes at home?
All recipes are made with ingredients from a regular grocery store, substitutes are offered or where to source specialty items.
What’s the dress code?
Casual and comfortable is best.
I am a vegetarian and I don’t eat pork or shellfish, can you accommodate me?
They can pick dishes to cater to your dietary needs or substitute certain items, i.e, ground dark turkey meat for ground pork. Must notify the demonstrator five days before the class.
Do I need to bring anything to class?
Just a good attitude and a willingness to learn!
